HOW TO USE

Almost all pet parents have faced the nightmare of pest infestation. And to top it off the process of getting rid of them can be incredibly stressful. Getting rid of ticks and fleas is not ‘child’s play’ after all. Or is it? With this repellent spray it could be.

Created with all-natural ingredients that do not contain any toxic components, it can be used around children too. In fact, your child could even help groom your pet. (Of course, if you have a particularly trigger happy child, do use supervision)

Spray liberally on your pet’s coat from neck to tail, covering legs and tummy as well. Avoid spraying on eyes, nose, and ears.

Recommended for daily use before your pet goes outdoors to prevent any parasitic hitch hikers getting an entry to your home.

Also regularly spray your pet’s bedding, upholstery, and your favourite armchair (which is always taken over by your pooch).

This spray is infused with the natural goodness of a unique blend of essential oils and herbs extracts.

Cedarwood- This pleasingly aromatic oil, hastens pests along to a not so pleasant end. It causes suffocation in pests and removes their larvae and pupae. It has no adverse effects on dogs, cats, or humans unlike conventional tick & flea treatments. In fact, it promotes hair growth and reduces shedding.
Eucalyptus – this pungently aromatic oil, can kill ticks and fleas by the time they even get a whiff of the danger they are in. Your pet’s fur will smell fresher while they feel freer of unwelcome guests.
Neem- this powerful herb can literally prove a bitter pill to swallow for pests. An application of neem can get even the most tenacious tick or leech to loosen its hold on its host in its hurry to get away. It also provides relief from itching, ringworm infections, chafing and dermatitis.
Thyme – conditions hair and treats dandruff. Healing of inflammatory diseases, alopecia and eczema will be accelerated as a matter of ‘thyme’.
Wild turmeric- has always been known for its therapeutic benefits for skin. Indian weddings have an entire beautifying ritual revolving around ‘haldi’ or ‘turmeric’. FAQs

Can this product be used on cats as well as dogs ?

If you are brave enough to keep both cats and dogs at home, you can safely use this product on both of them. It is formulated with a narrow pH range and to be mild enough for the sensitive skin of both dogs and cats. It has been tested not to cause allergies and inflammation. However, feline skin is more sensitive than canine skin, we recommend doing a patch test 2 hours before whole body application on cats.

On which breeds can the products be used on?

Pests do not discriminate between your pets, and neither does our spray. It can be safely used on dogs and cats of all breeds and sizes. If there’s one thing that they could agree on, then it would be that pests are nasty, and need to be get rid of soon!

Is it safe for puppies and kittens?

Yes, this spray is made of natural ingredients that are gentle enough for our littler fur babies too. These precious little ones could have exceptionally sensitive skin. So we recommend a patch test and observation for 9 hours before whole body application.

My dog runs away when the spray is applied on him. What should I do?

Some dogs, as well as cats are afraid of the ‘ hiss’ sound that the spray bottle makes. It’s perfectly normal. To sidestep this, you could spray some of the product on your palm first. Then gently rub it into the coat of your pet. When you introduce the spray bottle to them, make sure you immediately reward them with their favourite treat. Your pet is smart ( as if you didn’t know that) and will soon associate the spray bottle with pleasant times. Slowly any unpleasant memories of using other sprays (which might have had stinging or itchy sensations) will be dissociated. With patience, persistence, and some yummy treats your pet will accept the spray bottle with time.

How long till I see reduction in ticks and fleas?

The natural active ingredients in the spray will create an unfavourable environment for the parasites. Ticks and fleas will start leaving your pet’s coat immediately after first use. However, visible results will be seen in 2-3 days. Keep in mind that parasites are particularly tenacious tenants so regular usage is recommended for consistent results.

Why should I use spray on furniture, upholstery and bedding in the house?

Parasites like ticks and fleas are pros at hide and seek. It is a survival technique for them. To avoid the active ingredients in the spray, they will find a place to hide. Normally this would be a spot frequented by the dog/cat. Then they would seek refuge again in the animal’s coat once the spray’s effect is reduced. To avoid this cycle, it’s best to treat the pet’s favoured spots too.

What if my pet licks the spray off?

Our products are made with 100% natural ‘lick safe’ ingredients. Even the most enthusiastic fur licker should not have any side effects. However, if accidentally large amounts of the product is ingested then it could cause an upset tummy. Also, the nose, eyes and ears should always be avoided when spraying the such product.

Can I use it as an alternative to conventional treatments such as spot on treatments and tick/flea pills?

We have found that consistent usage of our TFR spray negates the need for conventional pest control methods.

My dog had severe tick flea infestation when we rescued him from an NGO. A person there recommended this spray, so we tried and saw tick fleas flying away in a matter of days. We use it as a protection before and after walks as she moves around grass and trees and is prone to ticks & fleas. Buying it again.
