Our founder Christina comes from a family of acclaimed, traditional Ayurvedic healers. And it is her grandparents’ wisdom that is the inspiration behind this abhyanga massage oil. Till today, her grandmother prepares healing oils from herbs grown in her backyard and treats her indie dog Bruno. HOW TO USE

Shake well before use.
Apply liberally on pet’s coat.
Squeeze a small quantity onto your palm. Rub palms together to warm up oil slightly.
Apply in smooth strokes onto the pet’s coat.
Massage gently using light pressure. Soon you will be able to sense your pet’s relaxation.
If you have the time, let the oil soak in for a while before bathing your pet.
Wash off using a gentle shampoo. Do not use harsh shampoos to avoid drying out skin again.
This oil can also be used as a leave-in conditioner post-bath to keep skin supple and smooth.

May be applied as a spot treatment to soothe irritation and redness.

Yasthimadhu; The healing herb, contains bioactive compounds with potent anti-inflammatory and anti-bacterial properties. Calms eczema, redness, rashes and dry doggy skin.
Triphala: Remarkable remedy: It’s an ancient herbal remedy made of three potent medicinal plants: Indian gooseberry, Bibhitaki and Haritaki. Triphala is known to fight fungal infections, sores, gingivitis and even drug-resistant bacteria. It aids in the faster healing of wounds and scabs making your pet’s skin supple and smooth.
Manjistha: Powerful purifier: Its application heals ulcers, blisters and boils. Manjistha combats dry skin, rashes and inflammation and soothes your pet’s itchy skin.
Ashwagandha; Amazing antioxidant; Known for its de-stressing and calming properties. It contains antioxidants and amino acids which contribute to hair strengthening. Minimizes hair fall and shedding. You will soon see a noticeable difference when you brush your pet’s fur! Fewer fur strands on the brush and even your carpets! A much thicker coat for your pet.
Neem; cleansing champion; Rightly known as the curer of all ailments. One of the most effective herbal oils to cure skin infections. Due to its anti-bacterial, anti-fungal and anti-inflammatory properties it heals and protects dogs’ skin. It is a natural and effective insect and pest repellent and can be used to prevent and treat infestations.
Coconut oil and coconut milk; natural nourisher
Lauric acid present in Coconut allows it to easily penetrate and nourish hair or fur follicles. This makes the fur shine with health. Coconut also has antibacterial, anti-fungal and antiviral properties.
Sesame oil; super stimulant; This is unassuming oil is rich in polyunsaturated fatty acids like omega -3. Massage with sesame oil enhances blood circulation and stimulates the growth of follicles. It is also used to treat doggy dandruff.

FAQs

Can this product be used on cats as well as dogs ?

If you are brave enough to keep both cats and dogs at home, you can safely use this product on both of them. It is formulated with a narrow pH range and to be mild enough for the sensitive skin of both dogs and cats. It has been tested not to cause allergies and inflammation. However, feline skin is more sensitive than canine skin, we recommend doing a patch test 2 hours before whole body application on cats.

On which breeds can the products be used on?

Pests do not discriminate between your pets, and neither does our spray. It can be safely used on dogs and cats of all breeds and sizes. If there’s one thing that they could agree on, then it would be that pests are nasty, and need to be get rid of soon!

Is it safe for puppies and kittens?

Yes, this spray is made of natural ingredients that are gentle enough for our littler fur babies too. These precious little ones could have exceptionally sensitive skin. So we recommend a patch test and observation for 9 hours before whole body application.

My dog runs away when the spray is applied on him. What should I do?

Some dogs, as well as cats are afraid of the ‘ hiss’ sound that the spray bottle makes. It’s perfectly normal. To sidestep this, you could spray some of the product on your palm first. Then gently rub it into the coat of your pet. When you introduce the spray bottle to them, make sure you immediately reward them with their favourite treat. Your pet is smart ( as if you didn’t know that) and will soon associate the spray bottle with pleasant times. Slowly any unpleasant memories of using other sprays (which might have had stinging or itchy sensations) will be dissociated. With patience, persistence, and some yummy treats your pet will accept the spray bottle with time.

How long till I see reduction in ticks and fleas?

The natural active ingredients in the spray will create an unfavourable environment for the parasites. Ticks and fleas will start leaving your pet’s coat immediately after first use. However, visible results will be seen in 2-3 days. Keep in mind that parasites are particularly tenacious tenants so regular usage is recommended for consistent results.

Why should I use spray on furniture, upholstery and bedding in the house?

Parasites like ticks and fleas are pros at hide and seek. It is a survival technique for them. To avoid the active ingredients in the spray, they will find a place to hide. Normally this would be a spot frequented by the dog/cat. Then they would seek refuge again in the animal’s coat once the spray’s effect is reduced. To avoid this cycle, it’s best to treat the pet’s favoured spots too.

What if my pet licks the spray off?

Our products are made with 100% natural ‘lick safe’ ingredients. Even the most enthusiastic fur licker should not have any side effects. However, if accidentally large amounts of the product is ingested then it could cause an upset tummy. Also, the nose, eyes and ears should always be avoided when spraying the such product.
